The Sensation of Taste ~ September 17 2020

What is the sensation of taste? Flavors, textures, and aromas are often intertwined with thought, memory and habit. What if I bring myself to the direct experience of this taste, right now?

The invitation today is to notice all the sensations around the sense of taste. Remembering that even if you’ve eaten a particular food hundreds of times before, you’ve never tasted THIS one before.

Allow yourself to get curious about the whole experience of tasting something: how do you feel before you taste it? how do you feel as you taste it? how do you feel after?

I’m away today, so will jump into our conversation when I return, AND please do leave a comment below sharing your experience of the sensations of taste. In upcoming conversations, we’ll continue to explore the sensations of our senses and our direct experience with each of them.

AND The Age of Becoming: Empowering Women Over 50 to Change on Purpose gets underway later this month! If you’re a woman over 50 who is interested in creating and being with change in your body, your life, and the world, please let me know! Much more goodness to come.

Can’t wait to hear from you when I return.

Breathe deep. Shine bright. Show up.
