The Sensation of Sight ~ September 14 2020

We use our eyes so much, so habitually that we rarely think about how it FEELS to use them. What happens if we pay close attention to how it feels to use our eyes intentionally in different ways?

Today, our conversation is about the sensation of sight. In particular, how does it feel in your eyes and in your body to look close up, at mid range and as far away as you can see?

Please share below what you discover today by feeling the sensation using your eyes in different ranges. How does it feel in the muscles around your eyes? How does using your eyes differently impact the sensation in your belly, chest and head? How does your vision impact your breath? The question is not just WHAT do you see but how does it FEEL to see it?

Upcoming conversations will continue to explore the sensations of our senses and our direct experience with each of them.
