Monday, March 30, 2020 ~ Dancing Water Daily ~ Nourishing Movement: Resilience

Resilience has two parts of its definition:
re·sil·ience /rəˈzilyəns/ noun
1. the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.
2. the ability of a substance or object [or person!] to spring back into shape; elasticity.

Our practice today invites movement with the sensations of resilience: both tenacity, strength and toughness and also elasticity, mobility and fluidity. Too much toughness and we become brittle and easily shattered. Too much elasticity and we collapse. Move with me to find the resilient balance.
