Music & Art: Aug 11-13, 2018 – Cville Love

This is art that was made after the terrorist attack on Charlottesville in 2017. You can still see these hearts in business windows, cars, water bottles and t-shirts around town. May it continue to stand as a symbol of love through it all.

This is a piece of art made in 2018 for the anniversary of the 2017 attacks. Love is strength. Each of us is strong and we are stronger together.

As I expect most of you know, the Charlottesville Downtown location closed at 6pm on Friday, August 10 and will reopen at 5am on Monday, August 13. Mary Linn and I team taught on Saturday, August 11, 12:30-1:45pm and will again on Monday, August 13, 10:45am-noon, both at Albemarle Square. Jeanne Catherine will teach a class focused on Hope, Love & Faith on Sunday, August 12 as usual at Albemarle Square from 12:45-1:45pm.

This is a tender and challenging weekend for our city. We offer classes to move all of it. Whatever it is.

I’ll post Monday’s playlist after class.

As always, please let me know if you have questions or how I can help more.
Dance on. Shine on.

Just need to say how much I love Gandhi’s quote; how much it nourishes my soul and gives me hope…. one person at a time! xoxoxox

    • Exactly. That’s what we were saying after class. If each of us took his words to heart and we each embodied the change, imagine what we could create. ❤ Thank you, as ever, for reading and commenting. xoxo
