100 Words: Window Washing

The view from our house was so clouded with gunk, we thought we had to move. Turns out we just had to wash our windows.

What had felt confining and stultifying, actually just needed a tweak in perspective…and Frank’s Norwegian window cloth.

Saturday, I drove to Harrisonburg to teach. Beautiful morning, music cranked, windows down. Working that good mojo. I Joyfully waved to neighbors. A handsome man on a bike found me so fabulous he gave a double take. Oh yes, I still got it. Then I looked in my mirror:
eyes sunglasses
Perspective is all.
