Susan’s Playlists for December 17-22, 2012

wintersolsticeHappy Solstice, everybody!  This week we played with deceleration of body and mind in my classes.  Slowing down the body creates more strength and healing.  Slowing down in general helps us feel love.  (Truly, when was the last time you were rushing and hurrying and really feeling loved?)

Our theme song for the week was La Da Da by The Makepeace Brothers:  the lyrics are “Slow Down, Feel Love”!  Several people asked me about it and while there is no good YouTube version, you can download the single on the band’s myspace page, from iTunes or buy the whole album (which is great) on Amazon.  We also danced Firedance and ChakraDancer the music for which you can also get online.

Next week, I’ll offer ChakraDancer on Thursday, Dec 27 at 9 and Firedance on Friday, Dec 28 at 9, both at ACAC Downtown.  Do join us!  As always, please let me know how I can help more.

Happy Merry Ho Hos to all!

Xo

Susan
